Build a hanger for your Kasperwing
This is what you need
Barn style Cover Me kit from Tarps.com. here is the link>>>>> Hanger Kit approx. $330 with shipping and zippered front door
10 bags of common post hole cement........ approx. $30
1-3/8" chain link fence top rail qty 20 @ 118" qty 20 @ 68"
Couple of friends to help
20ft x 40ft flat area to build on.
here is the start of my project (haven't received the Cover Me kit yet)

I laid out some rail to mark off the site then dug a post hole 4 feet deep and placed my first leg support in place. the cement I used requires no mixing, just fill the hole 1/3 with water then add cement mix till the cement and water level out. The post was set in about 30 min and its not going anywhere. :)

First two supports in place. The PVC is slipped over them so no one drives over the 2ft high posts. Check back next week to see the rest of this thing go up :)

first arch is complete... 4 more to go

week 2

By noon it was very hot and humid. I covered the completed front half with the tarp so I had some shade to park my van in. The whole kit went together very easy however the heat made the project slow going.

the open bottom I will cover with surplus tarp

inside of completed hanger space
Now I will need to make a rail and cart system to track the kasperwing in sideways

Kasperwing fits great

UPDATE 3/06/2006. I have to say its 4 years later and my Hanger is still standing. I had one issue in which the structure was crushed by high winds but since then the hanger has been moved to my yard which provides some trees to help shield from the wind. The hanger has supported a foot of wet snow, stood through very high winds (55mph) and plenty of rain storms. I have replaced the skin only once ($99.00) in 4 years so it seems that I get about 2 years for $99 of tarp. I highly recommend this solution for anyone who needs cover for the Kasperwing.
