| Kasperwing Hammer | First day of flyable weather at 7nk4 in Spencerport New York. I fed about 13min of wingtip cam video into a program called Pictmotion. Pictmotion automates dissolves and fades but offers no manual control over which sections of the video will be used. The original video is 512mb and is far to large for download so this alternative will give you a rough idea of the days hops. Sound track by Bob Marley. (8mb) |
| Mellow Mood- | On The second day of flyable weather the hops where higher and longer. On several hops I achieved 30ft altitude and flew for 1200ft at a time. It soon became apparent that I need to wear a weight belt to control pitch effectively. I had lost 30lb from the last time I flew a Kasperwing and the difference is apparent. I had a hard time getting the plane back down on the ground which limited the altitude I could achieve while maintaining profile over the runway. (4.2mb) |
| Cloud Nine- | Day 3, Its the last day I may have to fly on this trip to 7NK4. Its Friday and a storm is moving in that will bring high winds and rain to the area for the weekend. Around 7pm the wind died down to zero. It is cold and wet but I still made about 10 more hops |
| Day 1- | Monday 6pm. I am flying with a clamp on the left wing rear fly-wires to keep them in trim. Tomorrow I will replace the cables as they are very slack. These flights are slower and lower but it is a nice sunny warm day. Perfect flying weather. (68mb) |
| Day 2- | Wednesday 6pm. Tuesday was to windy to fly. I might have done 2 hops but they where short and bumpy . The fly wires have been replaced and the plane flies straight and level (52mb) |
| Day 3- | Thursday 6pm. (68mb) |
| Day 4- | Friday 7pm- Cold & gray |
